According to figures released earlier this year, by the Office of National Statistics, approximately 1 in 5 young people are currently unemployed in the UK. The 1 in 5 is a video experiment focusing on this rise in youth unemployment.

What do you mean video experiment?

I am currently studying a Masters in Broadcast Journalism at City University London. I am attempting to use mozilla popcorn to create an interactive documentary experience as my final project.

Who are these young people?

My inspiration for this documentary came from the experiences of people I knew and some of the case studies have some feature in this project.
